Two weeks ago I got ot drive up to Plano to do a sweet family newborn session One of my past newborn clients gifted Chase’s mom a newborn session. I think a gifted in-home newborn session might be one of the best gifts you can give to a new mom. Onces the swing has been outgrown and the play mat starts collecting dust, these beautiful portraits will be loved and admired for many years to come. I am so happy to provie these beautiful images to my DFW new moms.

Get excited! Sweet Sadie came to my home studio in Trophy Club to capture her 1 year milestone with a 1 year portrait session and custom cake smash. Sadie’s mom wanted to do a fun watermelon cake smash theme and I think it turned out adorable. The watermelon set-up consisted of a handpainted watermelon backdrop, watermelon flower pot, a custom watermelon cake, and some yummy watermelon to munch on when you are tired of eating the yummy cake. Although Sadie did love her cake, she really enjoyed the watermelon slices and I can’t blame her.

King Louie came to my Trophy Club studio for his 1 year custom cake smash session and did not disappoint. Louie was all smiles for his 1 year portraits and then totally destroyed his custom king cake. When mom told me she wanted to do a king themed session, I was so excited to create something new for his mom. I loved his enthusiasm for cake eating and I think you will enjoy his sneak peek into his fun cake smash session.

I love that I get to drive around the DFW metroplex to do in-home newborn sessions for so many sweet babies. Sweet Caroline was one of my most recent newbonr sessions and she was an angel for her in-home newborn session. Caroline slept for her entire session and then woke at the very end to give me such adorable eye contact and a silly face. I love that mom will not only have perfectly posed newborn photos of her sweet little girl, but she will also have a few images that really shows her adorable personality.

I recently got to document another sweet newborn for this precious family at their home in Colleyville, TX. Four years ago, I had a wonderful time documenting big sister and boy has she grown so much over the years. Both older siblings were just completely in love with their baby brother. Kyle’s in-home newborn session was stress-free and full of fun, even when sweet Kyle decided he was done sleeping. Ha!
